Just finished another hat. I call it Berry Berry Boshi. The pattern is a variation on the berry stitch. It resembles little berries. My goal was to knit the entire hat in berry pattern even the decrease. You could also call it “Very Berry Boshi”.
This is another hat I knitted as a pattern test for last weeks NHK program ‘Nice handicraft’. It uses one ball of Naito Shoji’s ‘Ecuador‘ yarn. The pattern has a different look on both sides. So when turning the hat over, it fives a different look. So with one ball of yarn you can knit 2 hats.
While I was looking for interesting patterns for last weeks NHK TV program, I found this one. It is called “Wickerwork”. It makes a very nice structure, using left and right twist stitches. It was a little to challenging for the workshop, but now I used it to knit myself a colorful, soft hat for this winter.
For the NHK program “Nice Handicraft” I knitted several variations of the hat we actually used. Here are a few ideas, what I also made with the same pattern. Please feel free to make your own unique knit item. The yarn we used is Naito Shoji’s “Ecuador“. A very nice and soft yarn with a long color gradation.
